“OMG, I don’t know which was Hotter the sex scenes in this book or the temperature outside. Elle really grabs your heart in this book about Maya and Ethan. Maya is a studious girl trying to go to med school but ends up taking a break when her mom is diagnosed with breast cancer. Ethan is a party boy who has a new woman all the time and is best friends with Ryan Maya’s older brother. Maya has a huge crush on Ethan, and he ends up taking her virginity. The two of them go their separate ways until Maya is in her residency program and Ethan is her boss. Things start to change or do they between the two of them. This book is so good I could read it again. I love how things go between Maya and Ethan, and at times I had tears in my eyes. This is a must-read book if you love Greys Anatomy or any other medical show.

Friends growing up, the two families became estranged when their fathers thought one had betrayed the other. From then on, the parents forbid them to have anything to do with the other. Jaxon became very wealthy handling real estate, and Skylar chose a law career. Through no fault of her own, Skylar lost her job and was blacklisted; no one would hire her except Jaxon, but even he unfairly “tested” her or “picked” on her. He wondered to himself later whether his “teasing” was too much for her—nope—that wasn’t teasing. I had a hard time liking him until the end of their story when readers could tell that he had fallen in love with her. Skylar continually gave in to Jaxon too easily, and their passion blazed red hot the more they were together. It didn’t matter where they were (the office, the gardens, a party, or any other inappropriate place), their hunger for one another was urgent. The plot was filled with much drama, many misunderstandings, horrible paparazzi, sneaky co-workers, and negative reporters. The story was good, the characters were okay, and I would read another Elle North book.

She leaves school to care for her dying mother. He graduates from med school with honors and is a prominent plastic surgeon/oncologist. Fate brings them together ten years later when she interns under him. The attraction’s still there, but a relationship would jeopardize their careers. Plus, she thinks he’s still a player. She doesn’t know that he’s always been in love with her but knows she’s off limits. What happens when she has an accident? What happens when passion takes over and their will power wears down? Why does she continue to feel rejected? What happens when she finds out she’s pregnant? Lots of communication problems and misunderstanding cause a lot of drama and angst. What happens when they tell her brother, Ryan? This was a great story, and it shows how Ethan changed his player and partying ways to make himself suitable for her. WOW! Must read it was a page turner. It was addicted and I was at the edge of my seat. Maya and Ethan had a one night stand and they gave into temptation. Ethan was sexy hot guy and Maya was a beautiful woman and their romance was forbidden relationship. How would this relationship affects the best friend relationship. The chemistry was smoking hot and the attraction was physical tension. I highly recommend this book. I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
